Cashing a large euro cheque

Hi i am due to receive a cheque for 55000 euros in the next 2 weeks.
What is the best way to cash this to receive the best exchange fees and lowest charges.
I have a RBS & BOS current accounts.

You could try here: http://auctionchex.com/
Their fee is minimal (90p??) but exchange rate not too good. They are fine for small cheques. For a cheque of that size you may be better off going through one of your banks (ask them what they would charge). There's usually a fixed fee of around £20 but I'm never sure what exchange rate you get.0
