The Copeland & Shaw Tea Company

Ab0ut 18 months ago I was in touch with a guy at The Copeland & Shaw Tea Company based, I think, in Bourne, Lincolnshire and bought some tea from him to post to my in-laws in Canada.

Well, we are going over to Canada in 6 weeks time and have been asked to pick up some more tea from them but their website isn't working for me (thecuppa.co.uk) and the telephone number I found on yell.com just rings out.

I was wondering if anyone in the Bourne area knew if the tea company is still in business?

Apparently they went under shortly after the banking crisis hit, end of 2008

I was very upset to find my tea supplier gone! I am still unable to find anyone who can supply the same quality chinese tea

OMG! I can't believe I missed your reply to my post about the teas! I didn't think to re-visit the thread after I'd heard that the company had folded. So thank you!

Anyway, It's that time of year when I start to think about 'what to buy' for Christmas presents to send abroad and googled to try and find similar teas and a link to my original posting on MSE was the first thing that popped up. This year we will be spending Christmas in Canada so no posting required.
