Vodafone Main Account Holder

I am the sole account holder with a Vodafone monthly contact mobile. I signed the original 18 month contract and have had a further two 18 month contracts with them (upgrades).

I originally gave my wife the mobile as a Christmas present and authorized my wife to use the account to call Vodafone with any problems she might have.

I am currently working overseas and due to financial difficulties am finding it hard to pay the monthly amounts. Have sent Vodafone three emails explaining the situation but have heard nothing from them.

My wife's mobile has now been suspended for outgoing calls and Vodafone is pestering my wife for unpaid bills.

Vodafone have my email and overseas address.

My question is surely Vodafone should be contacting me direct as I am the sole account holder and not my wife.

Comments would be appreciated.

  • Dunno. Sorry. Wanted to enter 'dunno' but was too short so had to put 'sorry'. :)
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

Surely, they are now pestering your wife BECAUSE you did that above? Sorry I am not feeling very 'tenderton' oops, spelling mistake, this morning. No, keep re-reading your post about whose phone this actually is. Is it your wifes or yours?

That's my comment as above, sorry if it's not what you wanted. Maybe others can be more helpful but ... like I said I think you've answered your own query in your own post why etc.

Oh, and Livingland. That's in Kent isn't it?

  • It is my mobile as the contract is in my name and not my wife's.

Lets just say she is using my moble.
