also got a couple of dvd movoes for a fiver each -they had a range of '4 for £20' dvds.. this is despite th nearby Zavvi store being closed down.
there was also some teen band doing a PA / signing (the Days?) at the back of the store..

how strange..... I also had some good deals on pc games and game cards from HMV they were way cheaper than their competitors..... fab online service.... could it be that the penny has finally dropped and they are realising they have to compete with other stores yipee for HMV !!What goes around comes around !! Perhaps one reason why Zavvi is defunct is that even with the 25% off closing down sale you could still buy 90% of their stuff cheaper elsewhere.0
