These are damned expensive, even at half price! They'd better be good.

I'll stick with my local dealer, a lot cheaper and he only sells good fireworks :)

The videos of the fireworks are hysterical.

I've got a projector, a nine foot screen and an amp in my garden shed for watching rugby and films.

I could hang a huge sheet from my apple tree and just project the videos onto it. :rotfl:

That's my Nov 5th 2009 sorted and I'll have plenty of money left over to spend on mulled wine!

Safe as well. And if the noise scares the pets, I can just turn it down, Ideal!

Come to think of it, I could have the Sydney harbour bridge y2k fireworks in my back garden. I'm sure I could find footage somewhere.

  • Sorry to be a pain but.......

    Fireworks Regulations 2004, regs 4 and 5

'No person under the age of 18 years shall possess an adult firework in a public place.'

'No person shall possess a catogory 4 firework.'

    reg 7

'no person shall use an adult firework during night hours (11 pm to 7 am)
except on a permitted fireworks night, a fireworks display by a local authority, and a national public celebration or national commemorative event.'

It is illegal to sell adult fireworks o anyone under the age of 18 years.

Breach of Regulations is triable summarily/6 months' imprisonment and/or fine.

I accept I am sad and have no life before you all fling abuse at me!

  • but presumably it's OK if the firework is a minor, it's only the adult fireworks that are restricted?
Thanks to all who post constructively.

Hmmm,. I don't want to speculate about what an adult firework might look like.....
