My OH is taking me to London on Friday - we're going to the theatre in the evening - could someone recommend somewhere reasonably priced to eat please.
Thanks

If you are anywhere near Covent garden, there's loads of restaurants that do pre-show meals for under a tenner.. a good place to have a look is lastminute.com, or just turn up! Some may want proof you are going to a show afterwards and you'll have to eat before 7pm/6.30pm0

Which theatre are you going to? Although most of the main ones are around the Covent Garden/Shaftesbury Avenue area, there are also major venues in Angel, Waterloo, Victoria, Sloane Square among other places.

you could try wagamamas (japenese noddles etc) or fire & stone (pizza) both in covent garden, in fact waga's is everywhere!
both will have offers if you look in their website. also all the major chains will be doing 2 for 1's - check out the vouchers section on this site for full details.GC: Jan £118.67/£175

"Bistro 1" do really good value mediterranean 2 or 3 course meals - I end up recomending them here all the time because you can get a good meal and a bottle of wine for less than most of the chains. If you google "Bistro 1" you will come across their website and menu. There are 3 branches as I recall. The one on Southampton St is good for theatres on the Strand or around Covent Garden, the Frith St one is good for Leicester Sq and Shaftesbury Avenue and the Beak St one is good for The Palladium, Dominium and Oxford St.Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0
