It worked for me, like Elvis said.
Use the password they gave you from the email and sign in using the same link given at the beginning of this post, then there should be a link for the calendar.
Where about on the Page is Calendar / Diary.0 -
I got there in the end. You have to log out completely and back in again as highlighted above (You get your password from the e-mail). Sign in again and the diary option will pop up automatically in the middle of the page with a picture of the diary on offer.

It isnt a pop up but you do need to wait a bit before re-siging in because otherwise it doesnt work!
