reposseison question

ok so say your house is reposed one day and u r given the chance taht day to get togher the money you owe but cant.. so house is reposed..what are the chnaces of getn to sort out some sort of arrangment to pay of money owe,d wihtout loosing house, taking it accout only have a yr left before house would be payed off in full....

and then if not...would you get the differnce back if they did seel house??

    You need to go to court and persuade the judge not to allow the repossession. If that fails you can sometimes come to an arrangement with the lender before a sale happens, but far easier to come to an arrangement before repossession.

    If the lender does sell it, you get back any equity after the mortgage is cleared, including any charges, arrears, interest and selling costs.
