£87.97 in B&Q :eek:
In my defence, it was all stuff that is needed to get my house ready for an OFSTED inspection to become a childminder.
Still a lot though _pale_0 -

ITR, good luck with your inspection!! And with finding children once you've passed the inspection!
For me: £2.50 on Aquafit class and 20p for the locker, so £2.70 and worth every penny, will be aching for days :rotfl:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003

so far I have spent £73.00 on the weekly shop and £15.00 on petrol for work next week
I have however saved hubby and I £360 on line rental on our phones for the next year - so this means we will be paying £15.00 a month each which gives us 200 minutes free and 50 texts free a month.............. result
We have changed over to 18185 for our house phone, moving our package with BT to the basic...............and we have a mobile phone line rental due to finish so this will save another £15.00 per month - Total saving of £47.00 per month
We have managed to get our monthly water bill reduced aswell by £11 per month
We have also analysed our food budget and what we have spent in the past month - saving £100........
Total monthly saving gained by sitting at the computer and making a couple of phonecalls........£203.00
Feeling very pleased with ourselves!! - thanks to everyone on this board for the tips that made this happen...........0 -

Debt.trilogy, a huge well done!
Those savings are great and, as you say, just from a few phone calls etc, fabulous! Just shows what this site can do! :money:Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Except for death and paying taxes, everything in life is only for now... Avenue QOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 003

Hi everyone,
Nothing for me! Lazy day in the morning, then out for a free walk. Ironing and making soup this evening. Gonna see if I can keep up the no unnecessary spends for a good while - barring petrol and train fares to work.
Edited to say:- Spent 20p on Toffypops biscuits, milk and eggs. How? Borrowed the other £2 from OH!
scottishspendaholic xMBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
Bank of Scotland = £2,782.830 -
