We got this about a month or so ago (with a 19" Acer monitor thrown in for an extra £50 or so) and it really is a decent PC, suits us for everything we use it for. Only downside was no DVD burner but we had one lying around so just threw that in.

Agree on the memory, we're going to shove another stick in although it doesn't really need it if its just for the basic browsing and emails, it copes really well.

if you can go here and scan the PC for the type of ram

Its DDR2. It comes with 1 stick with a bus speed of 335 (off the top of my head) I can only see 2 slots but belarc thinks there are 4.

Oh I forgot, the fan is really noisy, we've ended up fitting a new one, its still noisy but nothing too bad. If you can zone it out though its fine.
