Enjo consultants? Is it worth it?

Hi,
I'm just wondering if anyone here is an enjo consultant, and whether you can make enough money doing this to make it worthwhile (perhaps as a '2nd job').
Basically - enjo make cleaning cloths which you can use with only cold water. I know it sounds too good to be true, but I've seen them demonstrated and bizarrely they really do work. So I got quite excited about the prospect of sellling them, as they are 'green' and I'm really into being green, recycling etc.
Enjo are part of the direct selling association. They do seem to be a bona fide company and I've read a review of their products on the Guardian website, so I know it's not a flash in the pan/scam outfit. The idea is that you buy a starter kit for £199 and arrange demos with family/friends and they buy the stuff off you. As a consultant you get between 20% and 35% commission (depending how much you sell etc).
Does anyone else do any direct selling? Is it worthwhile or does it take more energy than it's worth? The only problem I can see is that the products are quite pricey - but then they are guaranteed for three years of daily use. I'm expecting some backdated Housing Benefit so I would have the initial outlay (if I had been receiving the correct HB last year I would have been able to afford to buy Christmas presents but that's another story!). I'd like to hear the opinions of other people on here who are involved in direct selling. Any advice would be welcomed! Thanks very much.
