Cemap Help Please

Today i sat my Cemap 1 exam and ended up failing by one mark. so i resorted back to the IFS learning material to find the figures in my hand book are out of date. As i am new to the financial industry i have sourced information from govenment websites etc to obtain my knowledge. My exam analysis shows i was marked down on my stamp duty tax unit. The IFS exam still uses the old stamp duty figures that should have been updated september 2008. I recieved my IFS handbook December 2008 so why wernt my figures updated???? I feel let down by the IFS and get very much the impression that it is set up as a way of making money for themselves. Surely if they were trying to educate people in this industry they should provide me with the right information. Anyway im applying to get my marks adjusted.....which will cost £75. Anyone else have any problems like this and what other advice do you have please?
Thankyou

Pathetic spam - the Financial Training Academy must be desperate for business. Absolutely pathetic and lame.

I feel for ya. I went to see 'Night of the Museum 2' and thought I was conned by Ben Stiller. In no way was it as good as part one!

I could'nt get a refund from odeon even though I used the template from this site.

If changes happen in the market, the IFS update them on their website and it is YOUR responsibilty to retrieve them and keep abreast of what is going on.

Furthermore, why would someone new to the industry be going straight into the their CeMAP exams?

For me that doesn't make an sense because if you are starting out as a broker in this climate then chances are you'll make little money and, to my knowledge, no high street lender will take you on at adviser level without experience.
