Rock and a hard place

Hello to one and all.

I need help. In my younger years, I, like most, decided to spend lots of money that I had borrowed and not pay it back!!! Now, I am still trying to pay off three creditors. Things have been getting bad, and I have not helped recently. I have not paid any of them since 07/08 and now they are getting shirty. The obvious letters through the door etc etc, I have now decided to try and consolidate this into one loan and get a discount for paying the amount in full. Infact, I owe about £9500, but can pay it off for just under £5000 (agreed with the creditors). The problem is, is that no-one will touch me with a barge pole for a loan!! I am a tennant which does not help, fully employed. I have been with a debt management program but left after their fees kept rising and I realised that my debt is hardly decreasing.

Does anyone have any ideas at all??

Many thanks.

    Hi

What sort of debts are these?

Any charges on them or other debts you paid off that you can reclaim?

Any PPI on any debt paid in the last 6 years?
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
  • One debt is old finance deal (no longer have the vehicle) one is old bank charges (from about 12 years ago (abbey National)) and last is provident loan. Just also found out that since I done a loan application online, noone will even consider me anymore.!!

Is the lottery my only option?
