Firstly thankyou to everyone who has given me advice on here, i sent the letter saying i wouldnt need spectrums services anymore [ saving 17.63 a month in admin charges] and creditors have agreed to new payment plan.
I was just wondering if i should stop paying link DCA until they give me my cca [ requested 8th jan] altogether and where i stand as im sure i will get letters when they dont get any money from spectrum.
Thanks ollie.

Yippee. Well done you.
What sort of debt is the link one?If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
link have an MBNA credit card, they received cca request on 8th jan and replied on the 14th jan saying they have requested a copy, i sent the letter saying they were in default and they replied at the end of jan saying they won't remove details as the debt is still valid0

Hi
Stop paying link altogether then. MBNA are amongst the least likely people to produce an enforceable CCA. What we occasionally see are application forms.
Either pay that to your other creditors or put it to one side and consider doing a full and final if you get enough together to pay off a small creditor. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Says who? :mad:ollietatts wrote: »they replied at the end of jan saying they won't remove details as the debt is still validClick here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
I too have finally after 3 years got rid of the fee paying dmp company i was with and changed over to payplan..change over was easy and took only 2 weeks.
I have paid out over 2k in fees to the old company over a 3yr span, and wish i had done it ages ago..but the worry of thinking that creditors are all onside and had stopped interest and dont want to rock the boat always stopped me.
Anyone with a fee paying company get out now..its easy and the free companys do the same thing only without charging you a penny meaning debt free date is a heck of alot nearer.Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0
