MBNA Credit Card - Partial Settlement Agreement

The reason i need to resolve this quickly is that once the partial settlement deal is complete, MBNA will register the account as settled on my credit file BUT will also add a notice of correction, saying the account is partially settled, which will affect my ability to get a mortgage for 6 years.

If i decide to pay off the remaining balance it might be hard to get them to remove this, so I'd like to come to a decision one way or another as quickly as possible i.e. before tommorrow night if poss.

Any constructive input would be appreciated.
