I'd be quick if you want one: it's going very fast. It's at number 25 in the amazon.co.uk sales rank now.
Someone at hexus.net found it being sold for £119 elsewhere.
I got one to use with my usb car stereo (if it can take the power load, just have to see) and my forthcoming dvd/divx player with a usb socket.I always tell the truth. Even when I lie.0 -
Could i use this to download say music from the internet on to? I just got a laptop and didn't want to clog it up with loads of rubbish?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Yes you could do that. If your laptop is XP you wouldn't even need to install any drivers, it just would "appear" as another hard drive. When you are finished with it you could put it away somewhere.
Devices like this are ideal for storing private files and documents, as you can put them out of the way. Also they are good for plain old backup of your files.
One disadvantage is though, just like the bigger external hard drives you shouldn't knock them around too much or they might break. Especially when they are plugged in and the internals are moving about. If you are likely to that you may as well get a more expensive, but safer flash based memory stick.I always tell the truth. I also hear that they don't like excessive temperatures either, so no good for holidays in really warm or cold places. Still fine for normally use. I had hell of trouble with two microdrives (not this make though), never again.0

Uncompressed, a film can be a lot bigger. Commercial DVDs are normally dual-layer so can store 9.4GB. It would be possible to get a hard disk based MP3 player which would fit in a pocket but store up to 60GB.Can I help?0

Price increased to £39.99 within last few hours. Was a good bargain at £29.99.The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0

Amazon seem to be doing that a lot atm. Changing prices left right and centre - mostly with items that appear on here. X-Files, Command and Conquer and now this! Hmmmm...Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:0
