I am in debt and need help fast!

For the last year my debt seems to be spiralling out of control and I am absolutely sick of living out of my overdraft and getting charged for going over it every month.
I opened a bank account with Alliance & Leicester and transferred all direct debits going out and my wages going in from HSBC to A & L although I stupidly didn't close my HSBC account.
All in all I exceed my A & L overdraft limit of £1000, I am £980 overdrawn with HSBC (as every time I went overdrawn with A & L, in order to reduce my chances of going over my overdraft I would transfer money from my HSBC overdraft to my A & L account) and I have a credit card balance of £4000. I also owe about £350 to Littlewoods (although this should be paid off within the next few months).
I am now wondering what I should do as I am sick and tired of living like this.
Would the best thing be for me to get a loan or should I just keep going as I am? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
