Question about car insurance

I was just wondering....
i automatically renewed with my old insurance policy for my car at the end of jan, can i still shop around and the switch even though i have just renewed?

i'm now pretty sure i could get it cheaper with all the tips i've picked up for here!

i cant afford to pay in one lump so have a payment plan for monthly payments
costs me £38 something per month at the moment about over the year £450.00:eek:

Any got any advice please ....

It probably won't be worth it now. Your policy will have already started and if you cancel it you are likely to incur a large fee which will probably cancel out any saving you would make by moving to a cheaper company.

Try to remember next time about 6 weeks before renewal to look at other quotes. Gives you time to give a months notice to cancel
