Hi Squizz .....2023: the year I get to buy a car0
-
Yeah, well done, squirrel! My housemate spends around £40 a week on food. He doesn't buy value brand stuff ever, I've told him it tastes the same, but he doesn't believe me.Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Middle child of middle child parents. I drink way too much coffee.

Hi Karma :hello:
Ruby, got to say I'm faltering a bit as I get a payrise next month and it would be nice to spend a little bit more on 'nice' food.. I still have the bad habit of splurging/ treating myself at payday then ending up on beans on toast at the end of the month!Ah well, it's an ongoing learning curve, isn't it?

Hope Snags gets on ok with Natasha...
Apparently R is being ill now as well.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
If I shop by myself we're spending £25 a week; if Wayne tags along the shopping bill averages £70 - £90:eek:   and usually there's naff all to eat when we get home anyway!
I'd ban him from coming with me but that rather defeats the purpose! When I'm a SAHM (April to end of January 2010) I'll be able to do more regular trips by myslef (well with Evie in her pram) and make sure we just buy what we need AND if I walk to Asda and back it's a 2 mile walk each day:cool:DFW Nerd Club #545 Dealing With Our Debtnever attribute anything to malice which can be adequately explained by stupidity, [paranoia or ignorance] - ZTD&[cat]
