  • What are you 2 on about!!!!

Where would the plaque be Len?

I would be wary of where it is located as it would not be an orignal feature and therefore may affect value. Perhaps look on some collectors sites? Do you have the paperwork that came with it? It should tell you all the info you need.

The shop has paid me a good income up to now - more than I can earn in any other job with my qualifications/abilities. I could not keep the house without that level of income. May not have a choice in the matter at this rate so ....
I do love my bungalow - only been there 3 years and rescued it from ruin. But it is only a place after all.

My accountant is rubbish. She still hasn't tidied up the year end April 08 and it will soon be April 09! She's not an ideas woman!

I'm a bit late, but, Bookie I had a business which I had to get out of before it took everything down with it...........it IS possible to separate out Business and Personal Debt. A Court will view them separately as business Debts are regarded as having an element of 'accepted risk' by the Creditor. if you are looking at folding the Business and getting a job which will earn enough to make a contribution to repaying your debt then that wil be taken into account. You DO NOT need to lose you house!!!
Btw, this happened to me in the late 80's with £42K and I found it a lot easier to get write-off ( or F&F ) for Business Debts thanwith personal ones.
Didn't learn tho' as Siggy proves......tw*t.
...and I love doing debt-related paperwork! I'll miss it whenI get DF...

Thanks Squizz, it was very appropriate at the time.......as I was doing certain things which, actually, were not making me very happy ( ). Then I realised that I was tending to take decisions that I knew would inflame situations rather than solve them......and I knew that I would keep doing that unless I changed my viewpoint on life!
Done that, take a step back.....look at your life from an 'outsiders' perspective and you begin to realise just how much good stuff there actually is.
    Crikey, that was long-winded, Sorry.

    Will change it immediately.
