It was just me saying I hate to think of you losing sleep worrying about things.
Sorry. I just want you to remember that no matter what you decide to do, we will not judge and will love you, same as your family and friends.
Actually I could do with one! I can't seem to get motivated to sort stuff out - it all seems too huge at the moment. I could do with someone forcing me into action!0 -
Would you like me to then?
I will take advice (from a 'friend') and kick said bottom if you'd like?
Usually advice is what you ask for when you already know the answer but don't really want to face it....
((hug))Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
beanie - i think it was cat who had the ciccia bag....
bookie - small steps is the key... and a list, but not too long, just small manageable pieces.... (even if really there is a big mahoosive list on the back page)
Does your DD know how you're finding things?I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

Does your DD know how you're finding things?
Trying not to worry DD1 as baby due but she has a rough idea and is ignoring it. That's fine - this is an exciting time for them and I'm not going to spoil it. Son-in-law knows the details but has backed off. Ditto no problem.
DD2 knows and is full of hugs and is supportive but can't help other than that. She is a little unwordly but lovely. I desperately want her to be able to get nmarried from home.
The problem is that, being a sole proprietor, the business affects my personal finances and equity which are just about keeping afloat. If (when) the business goes, the house etc goes too. I can cope with the facts but not the mess of sorting it out.
I was a fool to let my business partner off so easily 18 months ago. Thought I was Superwoman enough to carry on alone. Wrong.
I'll clear off now.0 -
*tiptoes in....

don't clear off missus!! stay...
it sounds like a big ole can of worms, i agree... can you get help from your accountant... a friend of mine with a lot of business and personal debt has gone through a DMP but it is via her accountant in some way... her house is safe and she reckons she can start another business anytime she likes... although i think you wouldn't want to be doing that, i'm guessing you want to have a rest!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Oh Bookie.
What is your main reason for wanting to keep the shop? Is it DD's wedding or is there more?Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
