I am in deep sh**. A 22 year old student in £17,000 of debts, and to make things worse this is excluding my student loans. I need serious help and I don't know where to start. I feel suicidal only I'm not that selfish. Please help me. Please. Is bankruptcy an option?

You have taken the first step in the right direction by coming on here - well done.
Now take a deep breath, get yourself a cup of tea (or some chocolate!!) and if you pop up your SOA some people on here will be able to help you in the right direction!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
If you put on your SOA then we will be able to help you juggle things abit.
When you look at things as a whole they always seem scary, but if you deal with it one bit at a time then you will get there.I used to suffer from lack of motivation.... now I just can't be arsed.

Congratulations on finding your way here!:T I'm also 22 and in debt.
I know it seems really scary, but you have realised this quite early and you have plenty of time to figure this all out. In ten years time this experience will have changed the way you spend so drastically. Where you are now financially doesn't have to be the defining factor in the rest of your life!
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! So post often and be honest with yourself. People here are very helpful and will give you an objective look that you will need to get through this.

Welcome.
Post your SOA using this handy calculator:
https://www.makesenseofcards.com?soacalc.html - there is a button on it so that you can formulate it to MSE which will enable you to copy and paste it here.
We will then have a clearer picture of what your incomings and outgoings.0
