Help Please With Default!!!

Hi all, i new here so wondering if you can help me out. I am at present in negotiations with my creditors for reduced payments. Most have been ok, but when i sent my SOA to Tesco creditcard they sent me straight back a default notice saying my account was 54.00 over limit and stated 17 days to rectify and 21 days for cancellation of agreement. They stated that there credit contrl would be in touch to discuss payment arrangement. However, it also stated if i dont pay this they may take legal action. What should i do?. I am a full time carer only income benefits, no assests, rented accom. I can borrow the money to pay 54.00 (i am offering 20.00 per month to them in arrangement), but this is just putting me more into debt. Do you think i will get court action? Should i contact them or just keep paying my 20.00? Any help apprieciated. Many thanks
