Hey Guys
Glad, if not indeed sad, to see that I am not alone in debt. I have enormous amounts of debt and I am at the end of the road and not sure where to go now. I have credit cards, store card, personal loan and secured loan. I have a lovely home and a good job, but I feel I will lose both due to my debt. Can anyone advise or indeed point me in the right direction.
Thanks for taking the time,
foreverblue

Welcome to MSE.
If you do a SOA - Statment of Affairs. Listing all your incomings and all your outgoings -every thing you spend -take a look at Martins Budget planner for an idea. Plus add your debts - with APR's amount on card/loan, limit plus how much you pay each month. you'll find you'll get loads of great advice. It's hard actually sitting down and confronting everything at first but you're not alone on here.

Hi there
Just a few weeks ago I felt like you. After being inspired by these boards I had a 'lightbulb' moment and decided to do something about my debts.
I have just come off the phone to PAYPLAN and they are arranging a Debt Management Plan (DMP) for me.
My total debt is £31000
I will be debt free in 2011 :T
I have had months of anguish and I have been robbing Peter to pay Paul.....this has finally caught up with me.
I feel very relieved today............I might even sleep tonight.
If you can't see a light at the end of the tunnel.........contact either PAYPLAN or CCCS (both non-paying fee companies) and they will discuss with you your best options.
Hope this helps
DawnProud to be dealing with my debts   :wave:0 -
Hi foreverblue,
I have no advice for you, others with much more information and advice will tell you everything and more that you need to know. I just wanted to say Hi and let you know that you've become part of a fantastic national support network. Its just like phoning a friend (only cheaper) and you'll get the advice you need and not necessarily just what you want to hear.
You will never be alone again,
:grouphug:
