HI all, I made an offer in nov which was refused. They then came back to me 2wks ago to say they would accept. After considering advice given on here and by others i droped the offer by 5k. EA was not pleased said it was worth a lot more haven't heard anything since mon. News last night reported 7% fall in this area in the last quarter. I'm begining to lose my nerve as i need this area what do you all think should i hang on in there. Thanks in advance

Let him buy it then if it's such a bargain. Hold firm, don't be influenced by slimy dishonest estate agents.. EA was not pleased said it was worth a lot more haven't heard anything since mon. eKrusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:

The house is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it and if it's been on the market since November, then it's probably worth less than they think it is!0

EA is messing with you - standard practise IMO
1. Spouts on to you about how it's worth more, it's such a bargain etc making you anxious and more keen to make a deal
2. Spouts on to seller how it's a great offer and they won't get more making them anxious and more keen to make a deal.............
and probably hoping to co-erce you both onto middle ground between the two prices and pretending to both sides that he has done a great deal for you
EA doesn't give a t*ss how much it sells for as it makes negligable difference to his commision. He just wants to make the sale.... AT ANY PRICE0
