A writer from News of the World Fabulous magazine has been in touch, looking for people to interview. She's offering to pay £200 to people who take part.
She asked us to post the following:
I am looking to speak to three women aged 30+ women who have moved home to their parents’ house to escape the credit crunch.
So had you been financially independent (ie in a rented or your own house) but the financial crisis meant you couldn’t afford to make the rent/mortgage?
Did the rising cost of living cause you to sell/let your house?
Did the housing market leave you with negative equity so you had to sell up and move back with mum?
Was your partner made redundant and you needed your parents’ help to support you and your family?
Or has the credit crunch affected you in some other way that means you can no longer live in your own home and need to live with mum and dad again?
Whatever your story I want to hear from you and can pay you for your time.
Please email me at jess@spiring.co.uk with a short outline of your story and a picture. I will need 20-30 minutes on the phone to interview you and you will be asked to attend a photoshoot at your convenience.
