Sorry to hear about the redundancy, however remember that it isn't the end of the world.
Hopefully you'll find another job fairly quickly.0 -
Thanks for all your kind advice, I have posted my CV on every single jobsite there is and have already applied for 3 jobs, apparently there is not much call for account managers/marketing execs at the moment!
Someone said to me yesterday it will get worse before it gets better!
After talking to someone last night I have come to the conclusion that an IVA is not the way forward for me and debt management would be more suitable, and might not effect my application for an Australian Visa0 -
Hi Kat
I'm so sorry to hear about the bad news with your job. I wish you every success in getting another one in the very near future.
Would you consider registering with an agency as a temp? I don't know how feasible this is as I'm not in the job market.
Also, start looking at what benefits you can get if the worst happens and you don't find a new job in 2 weeks.
I'm glad your Dad was more supportive when you told him than you expected.
Hope you manage to get a way forward this weekend when you sit down and go through things with him.0 -
i dont know whether this is frowned upon within the debt and finance community BUT
with all those credit cards and the high limits i would do a little research into the consumer credit act and find out whether the cards are actually enforcable, if you had them pre april 2006 there may be a chance.......by this i mean the lenders have to abide by many many rules to protect us the consumer, if they havent the debt has a possibility of being cleared!!!!
you seem like a nice girl in a very bad situation, jus do a few google searches and let me know0 -
HI, I buy tyre insurance when I b uy new ones, it cost about 8.00 per tyre but they insure them against punctures etc.
