Does anyone in the know -know when Travel lodge are going to do £9 or £12 rooms again?.Came in useful last time they were on offer!....Thanks....Neil

Travelodge do this every few months I think. Make sure you are subscribed to their email list. So no I don't know, lol!

You may still be able to get rooms for £19 or £29, not quite £9 but still good value.

Remember Topcashback for bookings as well.
    .....

  • on TripAdvisor.

The usual whinges from people who don't seem to read the descriptions properly but most seem happy. This looks like a good one to go for! :j
  • i've found some flights on easyjet for £20 each way in april. seems like this could be a bit of a bargain trip. have heard the beer's cheap too!
  • yes, i've been before. The beer IS cheap, and there's some great cheap places to eat too.

Though if i can do a weekend away for £25 I might splurge on a pricier restaurant! :money:

So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    What's it about?

Hotel broker Hotel Connect will be offering rooms in Prague for £1 a night for stays in March & April. Yet grabbing ‘em is all about timing and luck.

There will be 400 rooms at the special rate, and you can book them online when the sale kicks off at...

    Rooms available:
    At 10am Thursday 26 February
If you're not online then, you probably won't get one
To get it, go to its website at the right time

What kind of places are on offer?

Hotels are 2 to 4* and include the four-star Plaza Alta Hotel, where a double room normally costs £126 per night. It’s one booking per person and you can book for a maximum of three nights, so if you managed to grab this hotel for three nights, you’d save a huge £375!

Before booking, it’s wise to check the Trip Advisor reviews, to see what’s in store.

    How to grab ‘em?

When the page goes live, just click on the banner and enter your chosen dates in March and April 2009. Just keep trying alterative dates until you spot a room.

If you receive an error page, keep trying. When other hotel firms have run similar offers, their websites have been slow as treacle. It's a bit of a lottery who gets the rooms, so if you’re looking to stay in Prague this spring, get online at 10am sharp (or better still from about 15 mins before)

Warning! A charge of £15 per person will apply to cancellations, so only book if you’re sure!

    Get a cheap flight too

Remember, it’s not a bargain if you have to buy an expensive flight to Prague. To match your cheap hotel up with a cheap flight, read the Cheap Flights article.

Thanks to MoneySaving Lynsey for originally posting this brilliant deal. This fully researched post was inserted so we could give MoneySavers the full lowdown.

  • re: cancellations. what if someone just didnt turn up would they thn be charged £15 per person?
  • Just one quick point- I booked four nights at the Plaza Alta Prague last week through Hotel Connect for a stay in late March. The total was £125, so close to £30 a night rather than £126!

Still I'd rather have paid £3 and booked an extra night!
  • i'd assume you would get charged the £15 - see the terms that MSE Jenny posted above.

I have about 5 browser windows open, ready to go!:j
