Trying to obtain a loan to pay of credit cards

Hi Guys,
First post on here so go easy!!
Okay my story, whilst at university I obtained 6 credit cards
All of which were placed on a payment plan, with guidance from my university, this was in 2005.
Two of these cards are set as default.
Also I have a satisfied CCJ which will be removed from my credit files December 2009.
Im looking at obtaining a loan with the above poor ratings, for £3,500.
This will pay off my credit cards. I have debt of £6,600, but have managed to agree full and final settlements of £3,500 with the credit card companies.
Can someone point my in the right direction for a loan. I do not want to secure it on my house.
I currently pay £230 a month on the cards. So really if I can get a loan with monthly payments the same or less over 2-3 years would be wonderful.
Any advice please advise
Rich J
