Me and my partner got engaged this valentines day and are planning our engagement party.
We have the venue the music and the food sorted its just the making of the invites that i am stuck on.
any advice would be gladly received.

First of all congratulations! :T
We didn't bother making invitations for our engagement party - we just emailed everybody! It had already cost about £200 to hire the venue, DJ and get food so one less expense was good!

we have hired the club which cost £50 with bar staff, the dj is cost £30 as he is a friend and food will cost about £100 from iceland. my partners mum is making the cakes and we are going to theme it so there will be no trainers.
first impressions count with me so the invites are a must.

i just been looking on ebay there are some really nice handmade ones on there am goin to get my invites from this little shop in town she makes them all herself they are gorgous. were having it at our house i fink as both clubs i wanted it at r booked for the night we had planned goin to have a pink theme i think i have no idea were to get a cake from as dont no any1 who can make them and want quite a big one0

ask all your friends if they have relatives etc someone will make cakes

Why don't you have a look at websites that sell hand-made invites and see if you can 'borrow' a few ideas from there?some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it
