DIY Wedding Invitations

Hi All.

Thinking of starting to make my wedding invites this weekend, but was wondering whether anyone had any reccomendations for cheap card, paper and ribbons? Invites will be printed at home and quite plain, so nothing fancy needed.

Hobbycraft is the only place that springs to mind at the moment, but I have a feeling that they won't be the cheapest. Have tried online, but there are so many websites and my brain is a bit fried at the moment with all things weddingy (Big Day is 25/07/09)!!

Hi Miss Kat,

I got all mine off ebay as I made my own invitations, Try doing a search for what you need and you will get it very cheap. Failing that when I get in from work I can PM you the people I use as I get quite a few things for making my own cards

monkey office .co.uk are very cheap for card and envelopes etc and there is not minimum order. I hope this helps x

You could try papermill http://www.thepapermillshop.co.uk/ as you can filll up a box with the card, paper etc that you require for a flat fee. Dont know how the prices compare to the other suggestions but it will be cheaper than Hobby Craft. Happy crafting!!

I used Ebay entirely for mine and I have just finished them all, I shall take a pic and upload in 2 ticks I spent no more than £13 for 50 invitations.
