Are you seeing electronics goods at where you thought they'd be now?

One for the shop till you droppers.....................

Having been shopping for a few things for friends in the last few weeks who live outside the UK where prices are very high in developing countries, I have to say I've not been impressed with an array of consumer electronics items at all. I am also quite shocked at how few stores I look at are discounting like other areas of the market.

Huge discounts on clothing for example appear available for all to see, but computer items and mobile phones to sight 2 examples just don't seem to be getting slashed at all ; bar your bottom of the range models that always did anyway.

Just wondered if in probably the worst consumer trading environment any of us have ever seen if any of you are surprised that more discounting has not taken place?

Or maybe it's just I'm not a bargain shopping expert like so many of you here and I'm looking at the wrong sites!!!
