When you are asked 'When did you incur the debt?' on the BR forms does that mean when did you open the credit card account or is it when did you spend the money?

Its when you spent the money, dont worry too much about the dates for credit cards, I had mine for 10 years, during which time they have been consolidated twice, I had no Idea of dates because Id used my card for little things that gradually increased, so I just put the date I couldnt make the min payments any more. The OR questioned the date this morning, and I explained I could not give him a date a such and he was fine. Hope this helps x0

I was hoping it was the date I took the credit cards out....that way the OR would see that it's been years since I actually got any new credit. Oh well nevermind.0 -
He asked me that in a seperate question, "When was the last time you used or appied for credit" My reply was also years ago.0

ok thanks for that.
How did your interview go?
Is it as scary as I think it might be......i'm so terrified0 -
My OR was brilliant, he was even slightly sympathetic, he explained its not interagation, and that it was all about me starting again. He said my reasons for BR appear to an honest account, and unfortunate. Dont get me wrong there are some tougher OR's out there, its down to luck I supppose. I was very frightened a few weeks ago, but if you have sought proffesional advise from a debt charity, and BR is the best way for you, then go for it, Im sure it wont all be a walk in the park for me, but Ill face obstacles when the arise. Its like a massive weight lifted from you. I just closed my eyes and gritted my teeth!!!!!!!!!!! I have my three kids and the air in my lungs and noone can take them away!!!!!!!! So theres nothing to loose!!!!!!!!0
