Buying gift vouchers on a credit card

Basically Ive bought some gift vouchers on ebay and paid via paypal on my credit card. I paid for £150 but only £100 arrived! Seller sent them special delivery so paypal arent interested. Just wondering does purchase protection on credit cards offer protection against this sort of thing?

You should be able to claim under eBay and Paypal as something along the lines of "substantially different from description" - £50 loss IS pretty significant to me.0
