So Finally I may have passed the corner...

Ok so got lots of debts when at Uni and then exacerbated them by messing up my work expenses and generally being a clown

My Debts are:

Loan A+L £10500 owed off £15000 loan at £457.88 a month (6% APR)
Mint Loan £15000 off a £25000 loan at £397.54 a month (7% APR)

Barclaycard £5500 at £97.00 per month (20% APR)
BOS Card £3457 at £65 per month (14% APR)
BOS Card £3400 at £65 per month (18% APR)

[STRIKE]
Capital One £200 at £11.75 per month (38% APR) Paid off
Amex Card £7000 at 136.00 penalty plus payment Paid off
[/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]
Halifax Card £900.00 at £25.00 per month (26%APR) Paid off
Virgin Card £3000 at £96.00 per month (24%APR) Paid off
[/STRIKE]

Student Loan £9000 from 13000.00

I have the following costs per month:

Gym £36.00
Travel to work £150.00
Tv Licence £27.90
Shopping £100.00

Minimum Repayments £1082.42

Money for going out £100.00

Repayments to Parents £600.00

Pay from work £2865.00
Pay from Mystery shopping £50.00 (on average if not more)
Pay from Quidco £7.00 per month.

Money remaining to clear other debts = 825.68

I am lucky in that I am live in work provided accomodation or hotels so I have no bills or rent apart from listed or debts.

If you have any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob

    Hi Bob!!
You are doing well and good to see some of those debts gone for good!

Can I just ask if you really do pay £27 a month for a TV licence??
    start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225
end = Mon 28th Sept 2015 DEBT FREE!
I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!
  • Hi thanks for encouragement.

I pay a direct debit of £27.90. I think it works out that I pay that for the first 6 months and that pays off this years licence then the next 6 months pay off the year after etc.

I could have paid £30.00 quid a quarter but I choose the monthly option -I think my reasoning was that it all works out the same in the end. I also only need the licence for 12 months.
