Dodgy DCA Tactics.

After watching Watchdog the other night it made me wonder what dodgy tactics some (most/all)? of these DCA's use.
I have personally had cards mailed to myself through the post saying someone tried to deliver a parcel but i was out. I did think this was strange when the card was clearly addressed to myself and posted with a stamp.
I googled the contact number on the card and found several matches from this site and the consumer forums. Appeared it was a DCA trying to contact me. I did not realise that they were breaking the law by doing this. Sadly i threw the cards away.
Anyone else had similar issues?
What other tactics have you experienced?
How many people have had doorstep callers or cars parked outside? followed?
Really interested as to what these naughty people get upto now.
Thanks.

Just been looking through some paperwork to try and find out who owns what and i stumbled upon a name that looked familiar.
I have been getting lots of spam emails from fatmansings.co.uk
This is not something i have ever signed upto and the frequency of the emails made me think that they are not just randomly sent. The email account was used when i signed up for some credit cards.
Website registered to Stuart Robb (AWS Telecoms) A Private individual not a company. (naughty).
Swan business centre, Fishers lane, London. EX8 1AG which i presume is a fake postcode? Exmouth not London.
Now there are several debt companies registered to that address also, Infinity who had a CEO called Stuart Robb. just found one called Hemingways Trend Ltd.
Libero Consulting?

Dodgy DCA tatics?
Ignoring a genuine reason for disputing the debt
Sending out multiple letters even if there is a dispute
Sending "a bailiff will be calling at your property" letter when they have no intention of doing so
Saying they will take you to court/high court/small claims court when legally they can't because the debt is statute barredIndecision is the key to flexibility0
