I was quite enjoying Marks bit apart from the ummmms. Then had to shout at the radio about the employer knowing about the BR.

I must admit I was nervous first time I did radio - but I really enjoy it now. Been on air about 20 odd times now.

Makes a nice change from the office !

They should have made it clearer that student loans aren't included.

Not sure how useful or interesting it will.

CDL's should be as they are with high street banks and since his debt is £30k £8k of which is a CDL it might make a difference

Considering the economic situation, they should have devoted more time to that.

They just didn't have the time or the guests to get a representative picture across.

They still should have said something along the lines of 'In the case of CDL it would be included, but ordinary student loans aren't.'

If i'd have been a student listening I would have found that misleading and would have assumed that all student borrowing could, if necessary, be included in BR, especially when the scottish bint started going on about students.

  • Imissed it. Talking about student loans, my daughters mates (quite a few of them) after they finished their degrees went BR this was 5 years ago. They didn't bat an eyelid. One of them maxed out 5 cc's in the bargain and spent loads of money on clothes and coke and living like a popstar. Funny she did a pharmacology degree. She has now gone to OZ and has been granted a visa to work there.

It was quite amazing how many of them went BR, it seemed almost every uni student was doing it
