Furniture etc valuation for insurance

Hi

My Dad has had an offer for the family home, and is probably going to accept it. It was his family home as a child, and is full of old furniture (good quality), china, ornaments, etc

Ideally he'd like someone to value everything, and then he can choose what to keep, what to sell, and what to give away. Can anyone recommend a firm in NI that would go the house to do that ? He would obviously pay the person the going rate for their time.

I'm in England, so not much help with the day to day stuff.

Any of the auction houses would do it for him. We have used Ross's many years ago and for some furniture and painting valuations more recently. Daniel Clarke is the head honcho in that area. Found them to be very courteous and professional.
They have a website I seem to remember.
