I had my interview in early January and was told they'd be in touch if they needed anything else. Since then, I've heard nothing at all, including the promised offer for my wife to buy the interest in the house.
I don't really want to phone the receiver and see how things are going because I assume as long as I don't hear from them, things are ok....are they?!

No news is good news !
Last year when OH went BR it took 4 months b4 I received the BI documents.0 -
It certainly took several months, from my OR interview, to receiving a letter from the 'trustee' regarding my BI.
It will come, so no point in 'rocking the boat'.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Thanks you two.
I've never understood that phrase really; does it mean no-news is good news in as much as hearing no news is good, or does it mean no news is ever good? Actually, they both mean the same thing don't they?! Well bless my soul...for the first time in my life, I understand the true meaning of that phrase. Now that just leaves me wondering why something should be cheap at half the price (of course it's cheap, it's half the price), why if spiders make spiders webs, there isn't an animal called a Cob, and what is the point of Tess Daley?
Anyway, I suppose I should get in touch with them because British Gas wrote off some of my electric bill and the final settlement figure from HSBC for a loan I had was far under the figure I gave...or should I?0 -
Every OR office is different. I received the BI letter six weeks after the OR interview. I guess they're quite busy at the moment.0

Thanks DVS - the main thing is it's not unusual to have not heard from them, so that's reassuring.0

MOST definatley NOT unusual....after my interview nearly 6mnths later I heard from the OR about a possible ED....that came through at 8mnthsWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Thanks again.
Being pessimistic, if they were thinking about a BRU, would I have heard anything by now? I don't think there's a real likelihood of one, but you never know do you.0 -
depends....a BRU can be looked at as late as a few weeks before discharge...but I doubt judgeing by what you have said in previous posts it'll not be a probWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

You are very lucky... went BR at end of January and OR already has my signed IPOQ so I start making payments in March.
I certainly wouldn't chase it... no news IS good news... they know where you are if they want you...
Best wishes
