Satnav on your mobile, £16

picked this up the other week, free delivery from CPW, £16.62. I've installed it on my Samsung Omnia (which is not listed in the compatability list) and works like a dream! including safety camera warnings... comes on a 1gb small card, but also has adaptors for sizing the card up.

check the compatability list on the Garmin site...

How can you find out if your phone is compatable?

You have to have a GPS enabled smartphone. Good price though as it's over £50 on Amazon.

This is just the sat nav software you are buying for a GPS enabled smartphone.

If you already have a GPS enabled smarthphone there are loads of mobile sites that let you download mobile applications such as Sat Nav, for free.

Check out mobile sites such as mobango.com , there are absolutely loads of free mobile download sites if you do a quick search in google, you will probably find this software for free.

have you TRIED those free satnav software programs?? i have. thats why i decided to purchase software that was good at the job instead...

I haven't tried it, I would just use my Sat Nav for Sat Nav.

With a bit of exploration on the internet you can get the same software you bought for free, all you have to do is download it and put it onto your phones memory card.

Just ordered it.

I use tomtom Navigator 6 but they will no longer be issuing any more Maps :-( so time too switch. Garmin give free Traffic :T just pay yourr data/gprs charges

Google Maps is free but I believe it only downloads maps as you travel into the area so requires a connection to the net if you're traveling about.
