I won... but need some help...

I won a camera (not from on here), and was all set to sell it as soon as it arrived.
£350 camera
This month had to pay out £150 on new tyres for car, now it needs new radiator and water pump
Plus I need new saucepans as 2 have "blown" bottoms.
Plus there's loads of other things we've been planning to get for 2 years...
So it made sense to sell it and get some cash.
But it's just arrived.... and I like it, even though it's a complicated one
It's going to take ages to read the manual and understand all the buttons etc... and I don't get much free time.
but I like it and probably won't ever own a £350 camera until I'm debt free in about 2013.
I've been told I'm mad to plan on selling it before I've even seen it.
I've been told we need the money.
I don't even know where to sell it
ebay???
What would you do?

Have a look on ebay at completed listing to see how much they go for then make a decision. What camera model is it?0

I'd take a look on ebay and see how much they go for, then decide what to do.
What's more important to you, having the camera or the money? Maybe if you kept the camera you could win the other stuff you need? Or if you sell the camera you could try to win another one? Take some time to think about it and weigh up all your options. Good luck and well done on winning the camera in the first place.

Congratulations on the win!
The Nikon D60 is a good entry level DSLR that should sell easily enough. If you decide to part with it, you could always try putting an ad in the classified section of your local paper or contact your local camera club and ask if any of their members might be willing to buy it.
If you decide to keep it, then your local camera club is also a good starting point for getting to know your camera. My camera club membership is only £32 for weekly lectures/workshops from September to June.
All the best of luck,

Hi There, Firstly Congratulations on your win, a lovely prize:)
As To your problem, personally I would sell it, these cameras are going for About £280 (bidding price) on ebay at the moment so you are sure to get a fair amount towards things that you really need. Hope this helps:DIf your neighbour's grass is greener, its time to water your lawn!:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Sell it, in a years time it will only be worth about £50 and the use of your car for that year would be worth much more to you I imagine.0

:j Well done on the win whatever you decide to do with it.
If you do decide to put it on ebay and haven't sold anything on there before the ebay forum on here is very helpful

try gumtree as well, you dont pay any fees and you deal face to face with dealer, probably quicker than ebayA rule of the universe is, the more you give, the more you get0

If selling it would make you miserable then keep it. It is a great camera and I wouldn't sell it. But I love photography and use my DSLR loads.
Good luck with your decision. You'll make the right one for you!16 x Sanyo HIT 240w panels, 3.84kWp, south facing, 30 degree slope in the SW, 4.4 Eltek HE-t inverter installed 27/03/12
