speaking of dishonest, potentially, some of you migh remember that i ordered a cheapie mobile for Erin and my mum for Christmas, basically they were really pants so i made arrangements to return them to Play... they never got there... another item i returned was credited back to me within a couple of weeks... i called them every couple of weeks, but i had only used normal post and had proof of postage rather then recorded delivery...
each time i spoke to them they said, oh sorry, keep waiting it might appear on your account etc etc... then 2 weeks ago i called again and they said they would need to see proof of postage... so i called again today with a scanned copy of receipt at the ready and the woman refunded it back to my card instantly, without even needing to see the receipt!!! wht could someone not have done that 6 bleeding weeks ago!!!!!!!!!!
anyhow, the dishonest part is that i have already put a claim into royal mail... i wonder if i'll end up with 2 reimbursements... My bad!! i know!!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Evening all.
I slept through until 3pm before Hubbles came and woke me up! HOPefully there'll be enough sleep left for tonight. Still feeling a bit flat but hey ho. Made an orange cake to boost the mood. Just got to spread the icing on it and make a cuppa before cutting a slice.
Not sure what to do with myself tonight - can't settle to the TV, have finished my puzzle books, have nothing to read...

hmmmmmmmmm...........so twitter is basically just a load of status updates (speaking FB language)??? I guess you'd need a lot of friends to make it worthwhile otherwise you'd just sit there for ages without much happening?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
