I got £10 cash today!

Options
I was in my local town centre today & got stopped by a lady asking me to go inside a near by building to fill in a questionaire about Scottish power/Manweb.
For my "time & trouble" i would get £10 cash.
Naturally i obliged instantly & did get the cash at the end :j
Anyone else had anything like this?

This never happens to me! I just get charity chuggers- no one offering anything- unless you count the 500 odd points they offer in sainsburys "if you switch" which I can't do anyway as I owe too much to N-power to pay it back overnight and just swap.

Where do you find these people? obviously not in London!
  • When I was in London I was stopped by a lady who asked me if I wanted to test out a new beer, answer some questions and get paid a fiver for it.

Obviously I agreed. Answered their questions, watched their adverts then got a free pint and a fiver. It was nearly the best day of my life :)

When I was a student I use to get stopped in the street all the time by the same person every week at the same time. Use to go into a room and sit at a computer answering questions and all I got was a cup of powdered tea and a pen. Then I moved 200 miles away and use to get asked to do the same thing by someone working for the same company! In the end I use to avoid the road the market researchers prowled along so I didn't fall into their clutches. Haven't had to buy a pen in the last 5 years though.

About 7 years ago I earned £15 after being approached by someone doing market research on the lottery. It was at a nearby hotel, had a coffee and biccies while I answered questions then given the £15 cash! That was in Swindon.
  • I got a random phone call the other week where i answered some generic market research questions (nothing personal like income etc). I then agreed to complete a booklet which was posted to me. For my troubles the booklet came with £5.

I once had to listen to some music and turn a dial from 1 to 100 depending on how much I liked it. Went on for about 2 or 3 hours but did get £40 for it which was nice
