I'm scared, i am SE and i'm looking for work to up my income and i am finding it hard to find something. I live in Bournemouth and so far the Echo on a Thursday has about 5+ pages of jobs but now lucky to see 3 full pages and the employment agency that i get in touch with don't come across as bothered. On calling 5 of them they said email your CV in and we will call you if we have anything.
What advice do you have for looking at work?end the tv tax0 -
If you're looking to up your income, I presume you already have a full-time job. This will restrict what 2nd job you can take because you're limited by the hours/days you're already working. I used to find that most evening jobs started at 6ish and it's not possible to get to them after the day job.chris_spackman wrote: »What advice do you have for looking at work?
There can be no advice without a scope and framework within which to give an opinion. We don't know if you're in the countryside, or the town, have a car, or not. We don't know if you love gardening, or if bar work would be great but there are no pubs where you live.
For CVs, chuck yours out to as many agencies as you can with one click of the mouse and forget them. It's a numbers game and the more than have your CV the better.0 -

The page and menu is slow to load though, even on my 20 meg connection, but when it does fully load click on 'play episode' and it'll start playing after a few ads.
