Nice find for her fans I suppose, but it's still £4.98 too much afaic for a vacuous, talentless bint who only got to her chance because her dad "does a bit of telly".

    Well said.
  • Sorry, I know I sound like Mary Whitehouse, but when DD1 then aged 3ish sang along to Alfie clear as anything "would you stop being a tw*t" it made me a bit more aware of what exactly DH and I listen to in the car.... :D

 I was only joshing. I entirely agree with you. Lily Allen, for all that she probably would claim otherwise, I'm sure has many very young fans and I absolutely agree she should be more careful with her language. Certainly there should be a non-explicit CD available (although like you say it would probably contain a load of beeps).

  • PS Lütz Pangaloo, this is a bargain forum....for posting bargains. Bargains are usually things available at one supplier which are cheaper than any at other supplier. Specifically posted for people who wish to buy the product. Nothing to do with what you personally think of the product, in this case Ms Allen. There are literally loads of music forums all over the internet for you to vent your anger at the apparent injustice of Ms Allen being famous and you not.

I agree with you in principle, but in reality almost every thread here contains subjective comments about how much of a "bargain" the OP has found.

If I don't think Ms Allen's lastest expletive ridden offering is worth a fiver then I really don't see why I shouldn't say so, especially with young children of my own.

What I don't do is insult fellow members for having a different opinion to me.

Their money, their choice. As is mine.

And who says I'm not famous?

    ;)

I agree with you in principle. Entirely. ;)

PS I haven't bought it, either. I've never been a fan (although I have to admit to loving her new single inspite my opinion on her and I did start a thread on here regarding the album being £3.97 to download from Tesco). But for someone who's a fan it really IS a bargain. Doesn't matter what others think. It's not like we are discussing, for instance, eco balls from Aldi where people can give an objective view having used them and decided they are no good. This is music, there's no 'good' or 'bad', just personal taste. And that has NOTHING to do with whether this is a bargain or not. It's not as if your view is going to deter a fan from purchasing is it? Unless you really ARE famous and influential, of course. :D
