I have had great success with P*tio Magic applied according to the instructions twice a year. If your drive is damp and shady anything you do will need repeating. I recommend you use a product designed for the task especially in the amateur market. Everything is "a chemical"!
The problem with a pressure washer is that the surface of your tiles, paviours etc becomes more porous as you blast away, the surface is more likely to flake afger frost and also algae find tneir way into the softer surface making the problem worse. Use a stiff broom to throughly clear the surface, apply treatment, wait for ten days, brush and then treat again if necessary. Repeat twice a year.

Bleach and salt, mix it outside with hot water and use a stiff garden broom to brush it around.
Helps if you do it on a cooler day or early morning or late afternoon when the area is not in full sun. The longer the solution gets to soak the better.
Our pathway used to get slippery after a bit of rain, but not any more.
