Help me find a holiday!

Hoping to get a week in the sun in August but the prices I'm being quoted are extortionate! Anyone found a good value holiday from Belfast or Dublin? Not too fussy where we go but it has to be child friendly. Our group comprises 4 adults and 5 children and we would prefer self catering. Any suggestions appreciated.

Obviously you know your biggest problem is you are trying to get away during school holidays (as responsible parents should).
Pity the travel agents don't see it that way; families and school holidays = big profit!
