kitchen goddess site gone for good?

I'm not sure this belongs here so feel free to move it if theres a better place...

I thought I havent seen any kitchen goddess comps for a while so I'd check the site...I got this message

DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES THE KITCHEN GODDESS WEBSITE HAS CEASED OPERATIONS.


We would like thank all our members and contributors for their interest in the site during the last 18 months.


The winners of any outstanding competition prizes will be notified and the prizes dispatched to the winners in the near future.

so did i as i won not long to long ago,
but the reason was people was'nt using the site other than to enter competitions and in the end they had to buy the prizes for amazon so it was losing them cash,
its a real shame whaen that happens as i did like the site,

wonder why then they kept running so many very short comps for such a young site??

Surely run one comp a month, unless you have the sponsors....and surely if the comps are costing you money then it would not be unforeseen circumstances, just a sorry we've ceased trading type thing..........ah well shame.
