Does anyone advertise on their car?

Hi, thread title says it all really. OH is interested in putting some advertising on his car, does anyone do this or could point me in the right direction? Are they only interested in certain types of car? Any information very gratefully received, as we could use the extra money to save for our house deposit!

Hi annie_happy,
Can I just ask - do they pay you for this? You mentioned "it is the best way to save money", does that mean that they only give you discount on your shopping? If, so how much do you get in either case?0 -
Hi Dinah,
There is:Advertise on your car.
If you don't mind having your car turned into a billboard, some agencies will pay you to advertise on it, or you can get given a car to drive for free. It costs nothing to enrol and there are hidden advantages; cars with large adverts on them are unlikely to be stolen, and the ads protect paintwork.
How much? How much you'll earn will depend on what type of car you drive, where, and even (possibly and quite horribly) what you look like. AdsOnCars, and newcomer Money4Space promise up to £100/month for your trouble, but on the downside, reports of successful applicants are scarce. If you apply, do please let us know how you got on in the forum discussion.

I did a search on the web and found a company that did a transparent sticker for the inside of a window. I've got it on my rear one so that people can read it when we're stuck at traffic lights etc.OH is interested in putting some advertising on his car, does anyone do this or could point me in the right direction?
I've also seen superduper paint jobs on vehicles and plenty of magnetic signs. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

When I purchased my new car I asked at the garage if I was going to be paid by them for advertising on my car:eek: They said that they wouldn't, so I removed their stickers on the rear windowm number plates and Tax Disc Holder:DTo Dare is To Do:beer:0
