Its high time prices went down again anyway. Just ask these sellers:

Their 3 bedroom terrace has been on since August in South Oxhey, one of NW London's proudest and most desirable chav towns.
07 February 2009Price changed: from '£242,950' to '£224,950'
Thats right, these canny sellers have dropped their aspirations from a quarter of a million quid for their pokey new build in the land that god forgot, to only almost a quarter of a million quid.

Pray tell, what do YOU think it should be worth? I'm not really sure what your point is. That a 3 bed newish build in a place you have snobbish disdain for couldn't possibly be worth that sort of money, whatever the financial weather?
A wild stab in the dark but i'm guessing you live far, far away from the capital, and the continuing realities of house prices.0 -

Actually I live about a 15 minute drive away from South Oxhey.
That place is well over priced for the locale, and steep for a lot of much nicer, better connected areas nearby.
I know what you mean Chucky - but Watford is supposed to be London now so there you go.0
